The 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, laid bare for all the world to see, the numerous inequities experienced by minority ethnic people, especially those of the African diaspora.

We are developing resilient systems to help transform the lives of Black and other underserved communities. We're working to remove the numerous inequalities which create socio-economic disparities and which lead to preventable mental and physical health issues.

Community

When we strengthen communities, we strengthen individuals.

We're investing in our communities, valuing the people on the ground who are working hard to create a better society. We're getting back to the values that keep our culture strong and connect us as a global collective.

Our community-led initiatives will enable us to become self-reliant and resilient, with the power of self-determination.

Coding & Digital

We are developping technology based classes as an opportunity to upskill, through knowledge-sharing and collaboration.

Extra-curricular Activities

We believe children should have equal access to a wide range of arts, culture and sports, irrespective of socio-economic circumstances.


We're creating opportunities for inclusive access to creative, cultural and sporting opportunities.

Food & Land Justice

Fatal diet-related illnesses afflict Afrodescendant communities at a much greater rate than any other community. 


We provide fresh organic and culturally relevant produce via our veg bag scheme, Joyful Roots, and work to reconnect racialised communities to the land through growing initiatives, education and enterprise schemes.

Arts & Humanities

Our goal is to offer an education and skills programme in a range of subjects to help unlock potential and stimulate creativity.

Music & Dance

Music, rhythm and dance are part of the DNA of the Black community. We will interweave these subjects into aspects of our cultural education inititatives.

Under 5s

Bringing up a healthy and happy child is particularly challenging for families in underserved communities. 


We will offer support to families in the form of support networks, health & wellbeing programmes, classes, forums and other activities.
